Cub Scouts is a family-centered program. Scouts are organized by grade into dens (small groups). Dens meet to work on adventures and skills. Several times each month, the whole pack comes together for pack meetings, activities, service, and outdoor events.
Dens = consistent small-group time
Pack events = big shared experiences
Clear communication through the calendar and email
A program that’s active, hands-on, and age-appropriate
Plenty of opportunities to help—because the pack runs on volunteers
Pack 408 is run by trained volunteers. A few key roles keep things organized:
Cubmaster – leads pack meetings and helps deliver a fun program
Den Leaders – run den meetings and guide Scouts through adventures
Committee Chair – coordinates the committee and keeps the pack running smoothly
Treasurer – manages finances and reimbursement
Secretary / Communications – schedules, notes, newsletters, website updates
Advancement – tracks awards and recognition
Outdoor / Activities – helps plan campouts, hikes, and special events
